We have various things going on at the Academy to celebrate World Book Day.
The Hitchhiker by Anthony Horowitz
The whole school will be reading one book during lessons, The Hitchhiker by Anthony Horowitz. The story will be divided into six sections, one instalment for each lesson during the day.
Book Characters
Staff will be dressing up as their favourite literary character and students are encouraged to approach and quiz them about who they are and which book the character is from.
Free books!
During lunchtime, staff will be handing out free books to students
