Summary of topic:

  • A 19th century fiction study in order to respond to a question on GCSE Literature paper 1 section B
  • This will be an extract question and students will be required to respond to the question linked to the extract and then to consider the wider novel in response to the questions.
  • Analysis of context, language, structure and form is required.
  • Interpretation of quotatons and a selected range of judicious quotations is required.
