YEAR 9 PARENTS’ EVENING

This term’s Parents’ Evening for Year 9 students will be held on Wednesday, 18 June 2008 from 5.30pm to 8.00pm.

The focus for the evening will be to discuss the progress that your child has made at Northampton Academy. Parents will have an opportunity to discuss specific areas of interest with individual Subject teachers. We will be running an appointment system and this will be organised as follows.

With this letter is an appointment sheet that your child should take to the Academy. Please give details of the specific area for discussion on the appointment sheet and indicate which of the times would be convenient to you. Naturally, a greater range of times would enable us to meet individual requirements. An appointment will then be made as close as possible to the times indicated. Please complete the reply slip attached, even if you do not wish to make an appointment, or are unable to attend.

It will be your child’s responsibility to make the appointment with their Subject Teacher. The appointment sheet will then be returned to your child as confirmation of that particular appointment.

Subject Teachers will make appointments at the beginning of lessons from Monday, 9 June 2008 so students should have their appointment sheets with them. Inevitably, there will be some element of first come, first served.
