Academy 7 Transition Day

On Monday, 12th July 2010, 240 pupils joined Northampton Academy 7 for a highly successful Transition Day. As well as meeting their Home Tutors, pupils enjoyed lessons in Music, Art, Drama, PE, Science and Technology. In an assembly at the end of the day, transition pupils said that the day had filled them with confidence about Academy 7 and that they were very interested in the new subjects they would be studying. The day ended with meetings between parents / carers and Home Tutors, and presentations with question and answer sessions, led by Northampton Academy Principal Peter Hullah with Davina Kennedy, Head of Academy 7 and Peter Foster, Director of Academy 7 Curriculum. Parents and carers were shown the accompanying slide show of the productive time their children spent at Northampton Academy.
