Dear Parents / Carers,

Key Stage 4 Curriculum Choices' Evening - Wednesday, 17^th March, 6pm to 8pm

You are invited to attend the Key Stage 4 Curriculum Choices Evening on Wednesday, 17^th March at 6pm, when you and your child will have the opportunity to talk informally to subject teachers about KS4 Choices.  There will also be formal presentations in the Main Hall at 6.15 and 7.00pm.

Northampton Academy is committed to high standards and levels of achievement in all areas of learning and behaviour.  As an Academy, we need to ensure that we develop the best in everyone and encourage all students to fulfil their potential.  Our three pathways - Blue, Amber and Mauve - enable all students to develop according to their individual needs and aspirations.

Key Stage 4 Curriculum Booklets will be given to Year 8 pupils at assembly on Tuesday, 9^th March together with an individualised Choices Form which will show to which pathway (Mauve, Amber or Blue) your child has been provisionally allocated.  Forms must be returned to your child's tutor by Friday, 19^th March at the latest.  The courses you will be able to select from are those on the individualised Choices Form that accompanies the booklet.  Please read through this booklet before you visit the Academy on the Curriculum Choices' Evening.  This booklet will also be available on the Northampton Academy website.

We look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday, 17^th March at 6pm.  Please return the tear-off slip below to your child's tutor by Monday 8^th March confirming that you will be able to attend.
