Northampton Academy Art Committee

As part of Student Voice, Northampton Academy Art Department has created an Art Committee. This serves to promote student artwork within the school and gives students an opportunity to communicate their artistic interests and air their views, regarding the role of artwork within the Academy. Students from all year groups are able to contribute to the promotion of Art across the school, by using the Art Committee as a platform for showing their own work. The Art Committee is a developing organisation and aims to promote extra curricular artwork, produced in our weekly Art Club and the work of those students who simply enjoy art on a recreational basis. The Art committee is also a forum for discussion and sharing enterprising initiatives and encourages students of all ages to work together and develop their enjoyment and understanding of the subject.
