The making of a Cinematic epic
Large Scale Productions – The making of a Cinematic epic
Despite a ‘snow stopped play’ in February, pupils were able to experience the postponed Film Workshop. International award winning Film Maker, Steve Friendship worked through Friday and Saturday to develop ideas and shoot a two minute film short with pupils from year nine.
Getting a taster of future careers learning how a creative education in the arts can be applied to the workplace and experiencing working as a team using state of the art digital technology, pupils let their imaginations run wild as they filmed an intriguing story based around the exploits of two banana toting ninjas!

Huge thanks to Steve Friendship for the great two days and Mr. Hunter, Mr. Shea, Mrs. Simpkins and the Site Team for supporting this great workshop. Well done to all those who took part, they will each receive a copy of the film on DVD and a certificate:
