Links with P.E. across the whole curriculum.

From September 2008 selected sets from the Blue band in both Maths and Science will come to P.E. to embark on an exciting new joint venture of 'Sport-Maths' and 'Sport-Science'.

The students will be taught one of their lessons a week of these subjects by P.E. staff.  This will give pupils the opportunity to engage with their subject matter in a different way and where possible in a practical setting. 

The aim is to allow these pupils to further strengthen their knowledge base by utilising the high quality facilities and teaching that the Academy has to offer, engaging all preferred learning styles. 

This is an exciting opportunity for these pupils and for the Academy and something that is eagerly anticipated by all involved.
