THE UNITED LEARNING TRUST

The United Learning Trust has been created to manage a number of Academies spread across the country. ULT is a subsidiary charity of the not-for-profit charity, the United Church Schools Trust, and shares with it the objective of managing schools which offer students a good education, based on Christian principles of service and tolerance. The United Church Schools Trust was founded in 1883 and now manages over 8 highly successful independent schools. United Learning Trust is currently involved in the development of 6 Acadamies. Manchester, Lambeth, Northampton, Padington, Salford and Barnsley. Working together in a group has significant benefits for teachers, students and parents. This feature of the Academies within the ULT, together with the long experience in high quality education brought by the United Church Schools Trust, makes this sponsorship unique within the country.
