We welcomed RAF Wittering to the Academy today for the STEM Bloodhound Challenge.
Year 7 students have been learning about aerodynamics and were able to enjoy seeing the rocket cars they had made during Science Week shoot along with the aid of explosives.
The fastest car will go through to the regional heats.
Also taking place was a Teamwork Challenge workshop in which students were put into teams and tasked to work together to create the highest and most stable structure.
