On Thursday 11th October the Sports Leaders Squad welcomed nearly 300 Year 5 & 6 students to Northampton Academy for the Northampton School Sports Partnership Multisport Festival.
The Northampton Academy Sports Leaders had worked together to plan, organise and deliver a variety of sports sessions for the visiting students. The day was a great success and fun was had by all. We are very proud of our squad, who received some very positive comments from the primary children and their teachers, about their amazing leadership skills.
The festival concluded with our Sports Leaders awarding special 'Character Awards' to the primary students, who most effectively showed respect, determination and ambition throughout the event. We look forward to working alongside our cluster primary schools on many more events throughout the year.
