Sample Answer
One way in which hospitals were different in the 17th and 14th century is by their ownership. In the 14th century, hospitals were owned and ran by the church which put a huge emphasis on praying and supernatural treatments. However, in the 17th century hospitals were owned by local charities after Henry VIII has dissolved the monasteries. This meant that an emphasis went on herbal remedies and doctors instead of praying.
