Year 12 students with an eye for a career in Business and Finance attended a Careers Breakfast today, hosted by Jane McCourtie, Supply Chain Finance Manager at Primark.
Jane shared information on her own career journey, providing students with examples of how to transition from higher education into the workplace and the importance of continual development. Jane’s advice and encouragement in relation to work experience were particularly timely as Year 12 students are only three weeks away from their own annual work placement experiences.
Support from people in the industry is incredibly valuable to young people as they navigate their way through their education. Our thanks to Jane and Primark for their time and we look forward to seeing Jane again in the future.
