Criminology Visit From University of Northampton

Categories: Latest Academy News

Aspiring Lawyers, Police Officers, Psychologists and Sociologists from our Sixth Form cohort attended a lecture on Criminology, given by Dr Stephen Hallam of the Criminology Faculty of Health & Society from the University of Northampton.

Questions such as ‘What is crime and who commits crime?' were debated among the group. Dr Hallam gave the students a fantastic insight into what a university-level lecture entails, as well as providing food for thought on the subject of crime in society, stimulating students to think more about the impact of crime on the victim. Our thanks go to Dr Hallam and the Schools and Colleges Liaison Team for organising this event.
