We have all been moved by the crisis currently taking place in India due to a devastating second wave of Covid-19. We are also mindful that many in our community have friends and family directly affected by what is happening.
Sixth Form students wanted to support the relief efforts, so they held a Mufti Day on Friday 14th May. The day was a great success and raised £227.98. A local charity The Ullmann Trust has agreed to match this, and a donation will be made to Asha's Education.
Asha's Education has long supported families in India. At the moment, the charity is directly supporting the Covid-19 relief efforts with its fundraising.
