This term Year 10 students will undertake their Work Related Learning Programme, designed to play a vital role in helping young people recognise the importance of the skills they will need to develop, in order to achieve future success.
The programme will develop their understanding of the world of work, allowing them to make more informed career choices, as well as raising awareness of interview preparation and technique in readiness for part-time work and post 16 applications.
The programme will be delivered via assemblies and PSHE lessons and will culminate in a ‘mock interview & employability workshop’ event on Friday 3rd April. Students will pluck up their courage to approach a range of professionals to undergo several ‘mock interviews’, with the aim of preparing students for the real thing.
