Grow for Hope

Categories: Latest Academy News, Featured

Miss Osmani, Mr Cardwell and Miss Begum spent most of Monday afternoon setting up an allotment on the green space behind E block.

The allotment is part of a project called 'Grow for Hope', in which they hope to produce lots of fresh vegetables for the local foodbank at Emmanuel Church.

At the moment, they have planted some tomato and chilli plants but have big plans for this area.

Miss Osmani said: "We had great fun setting up the raised beds and will be returning every day to check on our little plants and expand the allotment."

Have you been growing anything over the lockdown?
