I started studying Mechanical Engineering at The University of Warwick in October 2013 after taking my GCSEs and A Levels at Northampton Academy. 

I particularly enjoyed studying mathematics and science at school and wanted a degree which would allow me to apply these in a practical way. During my time at university, I have developed an interest in the energy industry, completing a ten-week internship with Charge R&D (Coventry) in Energy Management Optimisation for hybrid trucks in the summer of 2015, followed by a twelve-week internship with Shell (Aberdeen) in Production Engineering in the summer of 2016. I will be graduating with my 4-year integrated master’s degree in July 2017.
