Today we said a fond farewell to our Year 11 leavers. After many weeks of hard work and GCSE exams the time has come for them to leave us, have a well-earned break and move on to pastures new. Our leavers were sent off in true Northampton Academy style, many with their new hoodies, and all with their newly autographed shirts, some which were very artistic!
The leaver’s assembly was an emotional, yet funny trip down memory lane, many were embarrassed by their photos from back in Year 7 featured in their tutor group presentations on the big screen, highlighting how much they have changed in the last four years.
Performances from Oliver, Billy, Monique and the Year 11 band were enjoyed along with Mr Atkinson trying his hand at ‘Shoe Golf’.
We take this opportunity to thank all our Year 11 students for the hard work, dedication and commitment you have shown and wish you all the very best of luck and success for the future. We look forward to welcoming some of you back to our Sixth Form next year.
