Congratulations to the student leaders who have just completed the Barclays Game On Football Programme. They have worked extremely hard since September, planning and organising football tournaments to deliver to girls across the school.
The organisation congratulated the students on the programme's success within Northampton Academy, and we all look forward to what the girls will do next. The students are now signed off and will be awarded their Girls' Football Youth Sports Award within two weeks. Well done, Elizabeth, Tolani, Damola, Summer, Rochelle, Grace, Vendija, Lilly, Maisie, Maria, Skye and Widad.
Last Year's Leaders Continuing Their Work by Running Enrichment Programme
Ewa and Emilija, who completed the 'Game On' football leadership programme last year, have been developing and building on their leadership skills by planning and delivering Football sessions during the girls' extra-curricular Football club throughout the autumn and spring term. They have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to the programme, elevating them to positions of responsibility and respect from within the group. Great work, girls; keep it up!
