This year's musical 'Wizard of Oz' was hailed a resounding success and received some fantastic reviews.
The school would like to thank all of the cast and staff who put the show together or helped in other ways, including lighting and sound, as well as Year 13 student Tom, who directed the show. Not forgetting Nellie, who starred as Toto and certainly brought the cute factor!

"I attended the Wizard of Oz production last night (Tuesday), and I can’t describe enough how amazing the whole production was. From the costumes to the makeup, the staging to the lighting, everything was excellent.
All the performers acted brilliantly. Special shout-outs to Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the lion, and the wicked witch, all of whom were exceptional. Also, I didn't expect Nellie to feature in the production, she was so cool and calm throughout the play. Last night, I saw some good budding actors and actresses of the future.
Congratulations to Miss Carney, Miss Osborne, Thomas and the team for giving us another wonderful evening with this successful production!
I am confident that the Spotlight Performing Arts Academy will flourish in no time and is in good, capable hands."
