On Thursday 28th April the Northampton Academy Sports Leaders welcomed Year 3 students from eight Cluster primary schools to participate in the Year 3 Multisport Festival. The leaders had committed time prior to the event to plan both the event logistics alongside the sessions they would be leading. When we learned a student with significant physical disabilities was attending, the leaders stepped up to the challenge, demonstrating a determination to organise sessions which were totally accessible to all students.

On Thursday 31st March, the newly recruited Sports Leaders undertook their Sports Leaders UK- Level 1 Qualification for this academic year.

Following their recent excellent performance, officiating the Town Primary Kurling Championships, the NA Sports Leaders were invited to attend the County Winter Games to officiate the County Competition.
During February Half Term at Northampton Academy, we were delighted to welcome the Sports Leaders from across the County who form the ‘County Leadership Academy to attend our first Face-Face session of the academic year. It was great to issue all the leaders, from across 10 schools with their LCV leadership Academy Hoodies, which were worn with pride by all.
