On Thursday, March 7th, our Year 8 and 9 Table Tennis teams participated in the Northampton Town Team Table Tennis Championships at The Duston School.
The boys were nervous and excited as they warmed up and scoped out the competition. Both squads made strong starts and comfortably won their first and second-round matches. However, the real challenge came in the third round against The Duston School. The matches were thrilling, with each match going to the full three rounds and displaying some superb play.
The boys played strategically and confidently, resulting in the Year 8 Team (Elvin, Henry, Charlie, Rohan, and Connor) placing second and the Year 9 Team (Niki, Andras, Antal, Riyan, Joseph, Ali, and Oleg) achieving a joint first-place finish.
