Well done to Year 7 Nucleus student Eve, who travelled to Hull to take part in the Dunlop English Junior Squash Championships, here is her report:

On Thursday 12th March, we held our first Nucleus Spring STEM event. The day consisted of a series of lectures and several workshops.

On Saturday 7th March, the sports hall was transformed into a simulated operating theatre. It was a fantastic day with over 100 attendees from schools across the region.

On Wednesday 4th March our STEM 10 team took to the road to enter the Regional Heat of Tomorrow’s Engineer Robotic Competition.

Following visits from St Andrews CEVA Primary School and Blackthorn Primary Academy, the final school to join us for our winter STEM Primary Outreach series was Weston Favell Primary School. The youngsters experienced three workshops in Computer Science, Chemistry and Physics delivered by Ms Kerwick-Crisp, Miss Duncan and Mr Swallow.
