We look forward to welcoming you to Northampton Academy and showing you what makes us such a thriving, vibrant, welcoming and inclusive place of learning.

Please come along to tour the school, visit subject areas and speak to staff and students about life at Northampton Academy.

Principal's presentations will take place at 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm.

Doors open 5.50 pm.

We look forward to welcoming you in person to Northampton Academy. As we are expecting the event to be very busy, we ask for your help with the following:

On Arrival

If you have signed up, please have your tickets ready for a faster sign-in, either on your phone, or you can print them out if you prefer. If your ticket is unavailable or you haven't signed up, there will be an option to sign in manually.

Principal's Presentation

Mr Clyne will be doing two presentations in the Assembly Hall, one at 6.00 pm and one at 7.00 pm. Both will be live-streamed to our Lecture Theatre and on screens in our corridors to reduce the volume of people using the hall at one time. You may be directed to start your school tour before going into the Assembly Hall or Lecture Theatre for the presentations.

Tours

We are offering escorted tours around the building using a one-way system. However, you are more than welcome to walk around at your own pace. Maps and directions will be provided.

Covid-19

To make the evening as safe as possible, we are asking, where possible, individuals to complete a Lateral Flow Test in advance of the evening. If you test positive or you are displaying any symptoms, please do not attend. In addition, it will be very busy, so please do wear a facemask, if possible, in crowded areas. These measures will all ensure we all play our part in the safety of the evening.

Parking:

To avoid congestion in our car park and on Wellingborough Road, we advise visitors to park away from the school wherever possible and walk or use public transport. Pedestrian access will also be available via the back gate, located at the bottom of Birds Hill Walk, where there will be limited overflow parking. You may be directed here when the main car park is full.

Once again, we look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant Academy of character and excellence, and we hope you enjoy your visit.
