We had the most incredible time on Friday 27th March, joining our fellow United Learning schools for My Culture Day!
Students and staff embraced the spirit of the event by wearing traditional clothing from around the world, sampling delicious foods, and celebrating the rich diversity that makes our school community so special.
We were also delighted to welcome several inspiring guests to our school. Alastair Campbell spoke with students and signed copies of his book; Toby Gorniak OBE shared his early life experiences, the challenges he faced, and how hip hop music and dance helped him develop a positive mindset; and Joel Foster performed and spoke about his journey into a career in music. Each visitor offered unique and inspiring insights during their time with us.
There was a parade for students to showcase their culture's fashion and flags and at the end of the day students performed in an open mic session.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a wonderful success.
