Praise Profile

At Northampton Academy, we are committed to recognising, celebrating, and nurturing the very best in every student. Our Praise Profile outlines the many ways we reward positive contributions, strong character, and excellent effort across the school.

Students can earn House Points for showing our core values of Respect, Determination, Ambition, Integrity, and Tolerance, as well as for outstanding effort or achievement in lessons. As students collect House points, they work towards our milestone Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Community Badges, celebrating their ongoing progress and commitment.

Attendance is also celebrated through weekly awards for students who achieve 100% attendance and zero behaviour points, as well as recognition for those who make significant improvements. Students can also earn Golden Tickets, which enter them into exciting weekly and termly prize draws for consistently excellent conduct and engagement.

Alongside these daily and weekly systems, students may receive Principal Awards for making an exceptional impact, and every year we honour outstanding achievement through our Best in Everyone Awards. We also celebrate excellent work through our weekly Proud Table, giving students the chance to showcase the brilliant efforts they’ve made throughout the week.

Our praise system is designed to ensure every child feels valued, motivated, and celebrated. By working in partnership with parents and carers, we aim to build a school culture where character, hard work, and kindness are recognised every day.
