On Thursday 11th November we welcomed Jessica Gagen to the Academy who delivered the latest in our Nucleus STEM Lecture programme, and the first Engineering specific lecture.

On Tuesday 29th June, students in 8S visited the Silverstone Interactive Museum and experience day. Upon arrival, students took a tour around one of the retired circuits watching what was racing around the track that day.

Miss Davies has created a link with a school in Dubai where the Head of Computer Science, Mr Prince is a former employee of Northampton Academy. Together the schools have come up with an innovative project for our Year 9 STEM students to complete over 6 weeks.

Our early entry Year 9 Music students from the Nucleus STEM cohort have made significant progress to their GCSE music compositions.
