On Thursday 11th October the Sports Leaders Squad welcomed nearly 300 Year 5 & 6 students to Northampton Academy for the Northampton School Sports Partnership Year 5/6 Multisport Festival.

We were delighted to welcome John Sinclair, Dean of Arts, Science and Technology from the University of Northampton, to deliver our second Nucleus STEM lecture.  John spoke to our students about the Ice Age and how the landscape of Northamptonshire has changed during glacial and interglacial periods. 

As part of their National Enterprise Challenge prize, our KS3 winners were invited to Kidzania in London, to present their ideas for the inclusion of a space-themed business.

We are very proud of our determined swimmer Isobelle, who was thrilled when she recently won a gold medal in the Nuneaton and District Junior League. In addition to this, she very nearly secured a bronze too! Ambitious Isobelle has been swimming since she was just two years old.
