The Sports Leaders at Northampton Academy are a cohort of students who are passionate about sports and enjoy inspiring others to participate in physical activity and sport. Within the team we have a variety of skills and talents, all showing strong Respect, Determination and Ambition in that they do.

Students Northampton Academy together with nine other schools were trained to help educate their peers on bullying and promote a culture which celebrates and tolerates difference within their schools.

During a careers and enterprise workshop with Rubitek Ltd, Year 7 students were tasked with creating, marketing and pitching a profitable penguin business for further investment.

Year 7 students have been learning about aerodynamics and were able to enjoy seeing the rocket cars they had made during Science Week shoot along with the aid of explosives
