“Every Wednesday, I took part in the 10-week NMPAT First Encounters programme. As a woodwind player of nearly eight years, trying something new, such as the violin, was extremely fun. We were able to borrow a string instrument of our choice (cello, viola, or violin) and were given the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills and pieces. I enjoyed every second of it and would love the chance to do it again.”
