Return to School September 2020

The Government have indicated that all students will be expected to return to school in September. Documents outlining the plans will be available below.

We are currently in the process of making plans and have produced a Return to School Booklet, a Risk Assessment Summary and there is a sheet of FAQs to keep parents, carers and students informed.

Please be assured that the safety of our community will be paramount and stringent procedures will be followed.

 Updates September 2020

Following a change in the stance of the DfE, facemasks are currently recommended in Northampton schools ‘indoors, such as in corridors and communal areas where social distancing is difficult to maintain… it will not usually be necessary to wear face coverings in the classroom.

We therefore ask that all students bring a facemask (and clear plastic bag to store it in) into school each day. We will go through with students on safe handling of facemasks and have an extra supply on site if any students forget or do not have one (Subject to change as local circumstances dictate).
