The David Wilson Construction Centre
‘In collaboration with other schools in the Eastern District (Weston Favell, Unity, Thomas Becket, NSG, The Duston School, Caroline Chisholm and Moulton School) we are building an exciting new Construction Training Centre which will open its doors in September 2008. The new Centre is being sponsored by The David Wilson Foundation and supported by the Learning and Skills Council. It will be named the David Wilson Construction Centre.
In the centre our training provider, Moulton College, will deliver City & Guilds 6217 Introductory Certificate in Basic Skills in Construction (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and bricklaying). This course will initially be offered to Year 10 students and adults in morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
Groundwork has already started for the new building and we are showing a photo-gallery of the project as it develops.
