Year 12 Students Attend Mental Health Conference

Categories: News, Latest Academy News, Featured

We had a lovely day attending a Mental Health Conference at the University of Northampton, which provided us with the opportunity to hear uplifting and motivational talks from both service users and service providers, all sharing the same simple message: ‘Stigma and discrimination around mental health needs to stop!’

As Northampton Academy Sixth Form psychology students, the conference provided us with the ability to take these different experiences and apply it to our studies, showing us that they have relevance to real life and people all around us.

I speak on behalf of my fellow peers when I say thank you to each and every person for making this day possible!
