During December our Sixth Form students have been taking part in a Reverse Advent Calendar in aid of Food Bank Northampton. Each day, instead of opening an advent calendar, the students brought in an item from Northampton Food Bank’s shopping list. The list contains essentials such as food, baby essentials, toiletries and home care items such as:
Food Items:
Milk, tea bags, coffee, breakfast cereal, tinned food, cup-a-soups, rice, pasta sauce, beans, biscuits
Baby Essentials:
Disposable nappies, baby wipes, baby milk, sterilising tablets, breast pads, baby oil/cream, nappy rash cream
Toiletries:
Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, moisturiser, sanitary wear
Home Care:
Washing-up liquid, laundry detergent, antibacterial spray, disinfectant, toilet cleaner, bleach, cleaning cloths/sponges, washing-up brush, dustpan and brush
