On May 8th, Harry Johnson participated in a trampolining display at Benham Sports Arena in Moulton Park to celebrate 40 years of NTGA, the event was attended by her Royal Highness Princess Anne. Originally, Harry was there to aid the disability team, however, he joined in with the event despite it not being planned.

After starting with gymnastics, Harry has been doing trampolining for 6 years and trains 12 times a week at Benham Sports Arena.

During the interview we conducted with Harry, he told us that he is motivated by his friends at the club because they are extremely encouraging and always push him to do better. For any aspiring trampolinists, Harry’s top tip is to set goals and follow them.

As for his next goal, Harry hopes to qualify for the Portugal Cup in April next year. The qualifiers for the competition are at the end of this year. We wish him the best of luck, we know he will smash it.
