Six Year 8 students travelled to Warwick Trident College to take part in the Tomorrow's Engineers Robotics Challenge 2018.

Joshua, Anna, Julia, Zara, Connor and Jessica have worked on the project for three months, after being challenged with the problem of building a robot, then programming it to do specific tasks based on this year’s theme of Aviation and Humanitarianism.

The team separated themselves into different roles; some focused on a research project to come up with a solution to the problems encountered in aviation, whilst others concentrated on building and programming the robot to solve the different challenges they were faced with.

Teacher Miss Davies said, ”The team did a fantastic job taking part in all aspects of the competition, showing determination and proudly walking away with a trophy for winning the Teamwork Challenge.”
