Year 12 Maths and Physics students enjoyed a day out at the National Space Centre in Leicester, where they attended the first Space Sector Careers Conference.

We were pleased to have had four Northampton Academy students take part in the Nuffield Research Placement programme this year.

Northampton Academy was delighted to welcome Verity Law, Senior Marketing Officer – Schools and Colleges Liaison Marketing and International Relations, from the University of Northampton. 

Year 12 students Mia and Ariella and other Sixth Form students travelled to Leicester University to attend the JEM (Junior Emergency Medicine) workshop.

Four of our Year 13 A Level Computer Science students attended an Apprenticeship Information Evening at HMGCC (Her Majesty’s Government Communications Centre) in Milton Keynes, ahead of the launch of this year’s application cycle. The apprenticeships on offer are Engineering Manufacture and Software.
