National Careers week 2022

These guide has mainly been created to help careers advisers and teachers to better navigate and understand the future of work, so in turn they can help students to better prepare for it. It can also be used by anyone else interested in understanding the future of work. The guide will focus on the changes to the world of work which are expected to happen due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and resulting automation.

                    

 

UNIFROG

Unifrog brings all available information into one single, impartial, user friendly platform, helping students to make the best choices and submit the strongest applications. They also empower teachers to manage the progression process effectively. If you haven’t yet received an opportunity to register, you will be sent a welcome e-mail soon. Registration is very simple and only takes a couple of minutes. Please see an Unifrog introduction video, aimed at showing you around the platform in more detail ,but once you have access to the platform you will find plenty of "How to Guides" and Webinairs. In addition the team at Unifrog have offered online training for small groups of staff and that is something that Manjit and I will be exploring over the coming weeks. Many of you will have already registered for a staff account on Unifrog and will have used resources with students over the last year.

 

Amazing Apprenticeship

Amazing Apprenticeships are offering a series of webinars for teachers, please register to join, webnair sessions every week on different on different career asspects for students. This might be a great opportunity for teachers to learn more about how they can influence and inform their students, linking information to their subject. This would be a real boost for Gatsby 4.
