A group of Year 9 students travelled to the National Space Centre in Leicester this week to support their STEM learning.
Year 7 Nucleus STEM students visited Cummins, a large engine factory in Daventry, as part of a project launch led by the University of Northampton in association with Cummins.
On Thursday, April 25th, we welcomed 300 Year 3 Primary School students from across our cluster to Northampton Academy for our final Multisport Festival of the Year.

Three Digital Leaders at Northampton Academy have designed a new background for a Digital Leaders Childnet competition.
On Tuesday, Richard Allen, Education Officer and former Performance Analyst and Coach of Nottingham Forest, delivered an informative workshop to 100 Northampton Academy Elite Sport students on how to develop a multi-disciplinary approach as both an athlete and sports practitioner.

Over the Easter break, fifteen lucky STEM students went on a two-week trip to South Africa. The trip was fully funded by the UK government's Turing scheme, which provides funding for international education and training opportunities.

This year's musical 'Wizard of Oz' was hailed a resounding success and received some fantastic reviews.
A group of Year 8 students participated in the IET Faraday® Challenge Day on Thursday, 18th April. Students had the opportunity to become real-life engineers for a day by researching, designing, and building solutions to real engineering problems as part of the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s IET Faraday® Challenge Day.
