Afternoon Tea Coronation Celebrations

On Friday 5th May 2023, Northampton Academy joined in King Charles III celebrations. 

The day began with our very own 'Royals' in the form or Mr Queally, Mrs Buckley and Princess Lily greeting students, parents and carers in the car park, they always put a smile on people's faces!

Matilda Jr Musical Hailed a Great Success!

Northampton Academy's first-ever musical, Matilda Jr. was hailed a great success. We have been overwhelmed with messages of praise for the students and staff involved in this project. The performing arts team, tech team and students worked so hard, and many hours were put into the rehearsals. We want to share some of the messages we have received and thank everyone involved with the show, as well as the parents and carers who have supported our students to be a part of it.

Our Annual My Culture Day Celebration

On Friday, 31st March 2023, students and staff at Northampton Academy celebrated our annual 'My Culture Day'. Every year, we join together to celebrate the character and diversity of our school. 'My Culture Day' was a celebration of students and staff from nearly every continent speaking over 60 languages. This year's theme was You, Me, Our Community: Our Differences Unite Us."

German Students Visit NA as Part of Exchange Visit

On Tuesday, 14th March, 22 students from the Ernst Mach Gymnasium Haar in Germany visited Northampton Academy as part of a German Exchange visit.

Year 8 Royal Navy Activity Workshop

The Royal Navy outreach team came in to work with our Year 8s.  After an interactive presentation showcasing what the Royal Navy does around the globe. The students took part in various team-building activities helping them to gain skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Sports Leaders Embark on their Level 1 Course

On Thursday, 9th February, the newest recruits to the Sports Leaders Team gathered together for their one-day training course towards achieving the National Level 1 qualification in Sports Leadership.

Some of our Year 12's had a fantastic day participating in our 'Crime Scene to Courtroom' event. The workshop was hosted by Kate from Zakon, who took our Year 12's through a journey of investigation and intrigue.
